Good Old Chrysanthemum Tea (yields 4 mugs)
Chrysanthemum tea is a very comforting and nourishing drink especially when you feel a bit tired and under the weather. It is also useful to fight cold and flu. My mum used to make this tea regularly for us as remedy to soothe our hectic city lifestyle.
1. Take 25g of Chrysanthemum and rinse thoroughly. 2. Heat 1 litre of water in a pot until it is boiled. 3. Add the Chrysanthemum and simmer for about 20 minutes. 4. Sieve and discard the chrysanthemum. 5. Add rock sugar or honey to taste.
This tea is just as nice when served hot or chilled.
