Pearl River Tea ships genuine Chinese tea and herbs worldwide directly from it’s offices in London and Hong Kong.

How to Order: After choosing an item you would like to purchase, put it in your shopping cart by clicking the "Add to Cart" or “Buy Now” buttons. Items you place in your shopping cart can be removed at any time until you check out. If you are ready to check out, click the "Checkout" button. Then, please enter your shipping address, payment method, etc.

Payment Methods: We accept most credit cards, Google Checkout and PayPal. Unfortunately, we cannot accept cash or personal checks. Our checkout procedures are authorized through Google Checkout or PayPal. Google Checkout and PayPal are among the most reliable account settlement companies in the world, and process our online payments to provide secure transactions for our customers. On your credit card statement, the charge will be under the name "Pearl River Tea", "PAYPAL* Pearl River Tea" or "Google Checkout* Pearl River Tea". All transactions are settled on a local currency basis.

The Pearl River Tea Company ships worldwide directly from its offices in London and Hong Kong.

Cost of Shipping: Our shipping fees are the same worldwide. Within the United Kingdom, we use First Class mail as standard. We charge by weight using the following rates (rates are the same worldwide):

Delivery time (including customs): Once you order, the merchandise will usually reach you in 7 to 12 days from London, England. The delivery time is different for each destination, depending on the postal service and customs conditions in each country. In the rare case that customs checks the shipment, the package will likely need an additional week to reach its destination. Also please note that postal delivery service is especially congested at the end of the year around Christmas and New Years. Therefore we cannot know exactly what date the merchandise will be delivered. Please place your order in a timely manner to allow for shipping time.

Customs Duties: Customs duties vary depending on your country. If you have to pay a custom duty, you will be required to pay the duty when you receive your order.

Packing: We are very concerned about environmental destruction in the world. Environmental destruction and pollution have an impact on all life, but especially on farms, which depend on the land. We wrap our parcels as simply as possible, while still being well protected during delivery. The simple packaging also saves on international shipping costs and gives our customers the lowest possible price for high-quality tea.

Return and reshipping policy: We will gladly exchange damaged, defective, or wrongly shipped items. Additional shipping will be paid by the Pearl River Tea Company. If you receive a damaged or defective item, please save the item and all packaging for inspection by the carrier. Once shipped, we are unable to accept any change or cancellation to your order except for damaged, defective, or wrongly shipped merchandise. Once your order is shipped, possessive rights of the products belong to the purchaser. If the parcel does not reach its destination because the purchaser incorrectly entered the delivery address, we don't accept responsibility. Therefore, please enter the delivery address carefully and correctly.

Gift Service: If you order a gift item in our "Gifts" category, each gift will include a gift card inscribed with your special message to the gift recipient. All items in our "Gifts" category include free shipping.
You are able to add up to five shipping addresses to your address book on our website.
Once you order, usually the gift will reach its destination in a week from London or Hong Kong. The shipping time is different for each destination, depending on the postal service and customs clearance in each country. Therefore, we cannot know exactly what date the gift will be delivered. Please place your order in a timely manner to allow for shipping time.

Address Book: You are able to add up to five shipping addresses to the address book on our website. It is useful for sending gifts to your friends and family.
You are able to add shipping addresses in two easy ways:
1) During the checkout process
You are able to add a new shipping address by changing the shipping address during checkout.
2) At your personal "Address Book"
Login to your account from the navigation menu on the top right side of Pearl River Tea’s main page, then in the same location, click on "My Account Info". You can then click on the "Address Book" button and go to your "Address Book" where you can enter up to five addresses.

Newsletter: Periodically, Pearl River Tea sends out a special newsletter full of tips on green tea for health and nutrition, Japanese history and culture, information about new items, and general Pearl River Tea news. You can subscribe or unsubscribe from our newsletter in your account on our website. Please read the section below for more information on how to subscribe or unsubscribe

Account Information: You can add up to five shipping addresses to the address book on our website; you can see your order history; you can edit your Account Information including changing your password and subscribing (or unsubscribing) to our newsletter.

Changing Your Order: If you would like to change or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. If the item has already been shipped out, unfortunately we will not be able to change or cancel the order.

Pricing Policy: We originally set all of our prices at very reasonable levels. Therefore it is possible that we may change the prices without advance notice due to fluctuations in the exchange rate, supply shortages, and so on.
